Video Production and Post-Production

Thermomix Germany’s customer magazine regularly features recipes designed to inspire readers to cook and bake at home. To make it easier for Thermomix users to follow along, we’ve now produced our first recipe tutorial for the Wuppertal-based company.

In close collaboration with Thermomix’s recipe development department, a video tutorial was created to show viewers how to make a “Pavlova.” This national dessert of Australia and New Zealand is a lavish dessert cake made of meringue, whipped cream, and fruit. For the recipe tutorial, the cake was prepared by a Thermomix chef. All necessary steps were shown in detail, including a list of ingredients and quantities. During post-production, two trailer versions were created: a shorter one for social media and a full version for the Thermomix website.

Filming took place in early November at the Thermomix cooking studio in Wuppertal using a Sony FS 7. Our three-person film crew was accompanied by several Thermomix employees during the shoot. In addition to the great collaboration, our three-person crew was particularly impressed by the impressive pastry creation, which they were able to sample extensively after filming wrapped up.
