Designing with Light<\/h2>

BECKDESIGN and LED Linear\u2122: An Excellent Partnership<\/p>

The Duisburg-based company has been in business for over 20 years. During this time, the lighting manufacturer has grown into a global leader. A wide range of accolades\u2014such as the Red Dot Design Award, the iF Design Award, and the Top 100 Innovator\u2014speak for themselves. Since 2016, LED Linear\u2122 GmbH has repeatedly been honored with the prestigious German Brand Award for its successful brand management. <\/p>

Much like global brands such as Apple or Microsoft, the LED Linear story began in a backyard garage in Duisburg. It was here that the founders of LED Linear\u2122 developed innovative lighting concepts and designed their first products. According to former managing directors Dr.-Ing. Michael Kramer and Dipl.-Kfm. Carsten Schaffarz, the idea for the first luminaire, the Xoolux, was conceived on a napkin at a bar.Today, the manufacturer of linear indoor and outdoor lighting employs around 150 people. Numerous large-scale projects, such as the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the E-Pod in Singapore, and the Google Tech Campus in California, were completed just a few years after the company was founded. Today, Apple, Aral, Aida Cruises, and Audi are among its global clients. <\/p>

Together, we have succeeded in recent years in sharpening the LED brand profile and taking it to the next level. The corporate design, in particular, exemplifies the strategic direction of LED Linear\u2122. New Corporate Design<\/strong><\/h3>

When LED Linear\u2122 commissioned us to develop their new corporate identity, we were well aware of the great responsibility entrusted to us. The result was a new wordmark in all caps using a custom-designed typeface. Building on this, we updated the entire corporate identity manual and redesigned all of the company\u2019s business stationery. <\/span><\/p>

As part of the new corporate design, an image brochure was also created in German and English. Spanning 36 pages, it presents a broad cross-section of LED Linear\u2122\u2019s services and products in a tasteful, modern style. Exhibition Booth Sets the Standard<\/h2>

We have also been responsible for the development and design of the LED-Linear\u2122 trade show booths on several occasions. With its booth at Light & Building, LED-Linear\u2122 set new standards. Framed by cube-like walls, glass display tables featuring the lighting exhibits stood in the center, serving as meeting islands for visitors. Large monitors were mounted on the walls, showing the promotional trailer we produced. <\/p>
